‘I call myself a feminist,’ said the Dalai Lama
This happened in Memphis.
There are many things interesting about this story, the least of which is how much his holiness gets around (and gets down for that matter). During the International Freedom Awards this happened:
“I call myself a feminist,” said the Dalai Lama. “Isn’t that what you call someone who fights for women’s rights?”
He then proceed to give the Memphis Mayor a fist bump.
